Our Contributions to UN Sustainable Development Goals

Protection of the environment and improvement of living conditions is an integrated part of our corporate principles. Our ambition is to navigate our sustainability agenda by applying principles of social foundations such as social equity, income and work, water, and energy. Furthermore, we recognize the importance of avoiding overshooting the ecological ceiling by becoming advocates for responsible consumption by focusing on quality, durability, and conserving resources in the development and manufacturing of our products.

These principles go well in hand with the 17 UN sustainable development goals (SDG), which address five critical areas of importance, namely: People, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnerships. The purpose of these goals is to create incentives for companies to reduce negative impacts and, at the same time, increase positive contributions to the sustainable development agenda. Henceforth, supporting the UN sustainable development goals will therefore be a valuable framework for setting strategic goals within sustainability at Roth North Europe.

During the first step in our ’Roth North Europe Sustainability Journey’ we have identified four aims to which we are currently contributing. These are intended to be further utilized as guiding points for setting targets in our market. Our goals are closely tied to our vision of being the best in our market within underfloor heating and pipe systems for tap water and heating. In other words, where we as a leading company, have the privilege to assert the most influence. The goals we have set are as follows:

  • Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

  • Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

  • Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

  • Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
